My Research!
The last attraction is an Award Winning Outdoor multi-sensory Night Show. It is the first permanent multimedia night show in the world that is stationed in an open sea. Collaborated and partnered with ECA2, an award-winning French show company, they have created several shows within Sentosa and at the location of the night show itself. A man-made attraction meant for tourism, The Wings of Time will most definitely give an interesting experience for their visitors!
Programme
Wings of time is a night show that tells a story of a Rachel and Felix’s adventure after meeting a pre-historic bird called Shahbaz through a series of the latest multimedia effects. The effects consist of fire, water, fireworks, 3D projection mapping and lasers which are bound to captivate their audiences.

Previously, “Songs of the Sea” was the show presented within the open theatre. The story comprising of residents of different races on a Kelong singing, trying to wake the princess of the sea up. Similar to the light and sound show in Gardens by the Bay, there are different timings for the show which are at 7.20pm and 8.20pm respectively.
Price
The prices for the standard tickets are $23 for premium seats and $18 for normal seats. Tickets for local residents are $23 and $15 respectively. As the prices for premium and normal seats are similar, rate pricing is present. Decoy pricing is hence present as the price of the standard tickets are similar to the local tickets. This causes a perception that premium seats is cheaper and more worth it.
If bought online, there will be a 10% discount on all tickets as seen from the screenshot below.
My Experience!

I am known for being critical of movies, so naturally, I would also be critical of the show. Once the show has started, I immediately knew that the storyline isn’t catered to my age group. The show began with two actors lip-syncing with the audio while frantically using body actions to convey the message of their emotions. They then proceeded to have an adventure into the past with a prehistoric bird called Shahbaz and finally went home with the help of Shahbaz’s wings of time. However, regardless of my opinion, I can’t help to notice adorable children dancing and jumping delightedly at the plot and the sound effects.
The multimedia effects, on the other hand, were amazing. There were pyrotechnics, water jets and water fountains dancing to the beat of the music. Lasers that cut through the skies. 3D mapping projecting the era that the storyline is at and water to create either a curtain for the 3D projection mapping. There are also fireworks and flares for the finale which made it grandiose. All I can say after the finale was the multimedia effects was captivating.
Here is a small snippet of a video that I have posted on Snapchat.
In a nutshell, the storyline was disappointing as there isn’t any depth to the characters and the story was really shallow. As it may not cater to my age group, it most certainly caters to families and children as they can enjoy bonding together while watching the show. In addition, children are also visual hence the lights, colours and amazing effects will certainly keep them occupied and engaged. I, on the other hand, will most definitely not pay $15 (local resident rate, normal seats) to watch the show. However, I will recommend it to families that want to bring their child to experience something different.
